Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) also known as the E-cell of JSS Academy is a student led Entrepreneurship based club working under the Department of Mechanical Engineering and its aim is to develop and propagate the idea and essence of Entrepreneurship and startups among students of JSS.

EDC was established in the year 2015 by our alumni Hasan Ali. EDC aims to uplift and provide a platform to students who have a budding entrepreneur in them by organising various events such as workshops, speaker sessions, pitching competitions, e-summits along with national events such as EUREKA which helps them secure investors. Society members have also represented JSS college at various prestigious competitions such as National Entrepreneurship Challenge by IIT Bombay in the finals.
