The Oorja Society was formed by students of the Electrical Engineering Department working under the guidance of faculty. It is one of the oldest student societies of the institution. Oorja organizes workshops, seminars, and contests to inculcate technical and creative skills among the students. Oorja is a student group that constantly tries to innovate and foster technical activities on campus. Since 2000, we have focused on creating meaningful experiences through immersive learning. We hope to bring the best in code, development, and design to the college scene. Oorja consists of three clubs, each dealing with activities in a separate field of expertise.

Our society envisions introducing students to the new features of electronics and technology and assisting them to transform their ideas to create real-world applications. We aim to compete with the latest forms of technology and harness the efforts of like-minded people to develop a pool of learning and growth.
Mission
Our Mission has always been to ignite the spark of any student who wishes to broaden their skills and provide a platform to reach various dimensions of next-generation electronics through their knowledge, creativity, and imagination.
