Over the course of his career, Dr. Mahadevaswamy has served in diverse and impactful roles — including Joint Director, Principal of an Engineering College, Group Manager in a multinational corporation, and CEO of his own enterprise. This breadth of experience has enabled him to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice, making him a dynamic leader capable of driving innovation in higher education.

Well-connected with national and international accreditation agencies, corporate leaders, and industry bodies, he has extensive experience in securing funding from multiple sources, including the DST – Government of India, KCTU – Government of Karnataka, GITA, Horizon-2020, and other global research and innovation programmes. His professional affiliations include respected organizations such as KASSIA, CII, IAN, IIF, CSI, FKKCI, ISTE, IE(I), IEEE, and several others.

Dr. Mahadevaswamy holds a B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from SJCE, Mysuru (1987), an M.Tech. in Industrial Electronics from NIT Suratkal (1992), and a Ph.D. in Image Processing from NIT Calicut (2000). He has authored 15 research publications in reputed conferences and journals, and his expertise spans Virtual Reality (VR), 3D Point Cloud Technology, Imaging Systems, Multimedia, and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).

His global exposure includes professional visits to Germany, Portugal, Malaysia, and France for high-level technology and business discussions — further enhancing his ability to bring international best practices to JSS University, Noida.
